Complete combines the original Snakebird and the gentler Primer with a visual hint system, making this the edition I would choose for help with its exacting body-shape puzzles. A nudge can narrow the problem without taking over every move. Start with the introductory levels if you need the rules to settle. The cheerful birds still conceal serious spatial planning, and the original standalone release should not be assumed to have the same assistance.
