Frostpunk makes the location of a home, workplace or heat source a moral and practical decision. The compact city keeps the consequences visible: a promising expansion may cost warmth, labour or trust you cannot spare. It is superb for understanding a settlement under pressure, but the story campaign is deliberately harsh. The included Serenity endless setting eases the survival burden for builders without making the frozen world disappear.
