Thimbleweed Park (2017)

The town's peculiar officials and a conspicuously unprofessional clown make the murder investigation feel like an institution that has gone quietly wrong. Switching characters exposes different sides of the same absurd community. Casual mode trims the puzzle load and an optional telephone hint line helps with sticking points. Its swearing and knowing jokes about old adventure games are part of the flavour, so expect a strong taste of that tradition.
