Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective (2023)

Fans kept asking Capcom to bring Sissel's mystery back, and the remaster offers a clear reason for that persistence. Possessing an object and setting off a small chain reaction makes saving a life into a satisfying puzzle, while the animation gives even a brief character encounter personality. The 2023 version is a convenient starting point. It is still a fairly linear, dialogue-rich adventure, best enjoyed before reading theories or a detailed synopsis; knowing the fan vocabulary is unnecessary.
