Planescape: Torment - Enhanced Edition (2017)

Torment's lasting reputation rests on conversations that let identity and belief change more than the next quest reward. Your companions have reasons to challenge you, and a strange object can become another person worth hearing out. Enhanced Edition makes the 1999 RPG easier to read and handle, with updates curated alongside its original lead designer. There is still a great deal of text and some ungainly fighting. Its devoted readers make sense; you do not need to adopt their preferred answer to the game's central question.
