Lillian agrees to look after two children who burst into flames when agitated. Wilson treats that absurd premise with startling practical seriousness: someone still has to keep them safe, earn their trust and decide whose convenience matters. Lillian's dry voice keeps the story funny while exposing old humiliations and the hurt of being unwanted. The affection grows out of the work of care. Expect fierce language, damaged families and literal fire, with considerably more tenderness than the premise announces.
