The relationship system explicitly supports platonic bonds with the main cast; define the connection that way when the story asks. It is a complete workplace-and-community story with character-focused scenes along the way. Other people can still flirt or have relationships, so choose it for agency over your own bond rather than an entirely romance-free setting.
