The Tea Dragon Society (2017)

This short, all-ages graphic novel follows a blacksmith’s apprentice learning to care for creatures whose tea preserves memories. Its gentle development comes through practice, friendship and the decision to keep a craft alive. The pictures do much of the storytelling, making it a particularly restful choice after a crowded working day. Memory loss and the passing of traditions add a little sadness without turning it into an action adventure.
