Botanicula (2012)

Five tiny tree creatures invite the child to point out something odd and see what happens when it is touched. Expressive sounds and movement do most of the storytelling, making this a lively choice for exploring together without a script to read. An adult may need to organise the search across branches and help with obscure interactions. The parasites threatening the tree are genuinely sinister in places, despite the many delighted squeaks and visual jokes.
