Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars Reforged (2024)

The 2024 Reforged edition combines manual hints revealed in stages with optional automatic nudges in Story Mode. That distinction lets you choose between asking only when stuck and having the game notice a long pause in progress. There is a short wait between deeper manual hints, giving an initial clue time to work. I would start with the quieter settings if preserving the deduction matters most. The assistance is included; the original 1996 release does not have this modern help.
