Hacknet (2015)

A dead hacker's automated messages lead you through a simulated network, where files and command-line actions reveal what happened to him. The terminal gives the narrative a procedure you must perform, with more syntax to learn than a conventional visual novel. Work within the game's fictional systems and expect moments of time pressure. The original campaign is the starting point; Labyrinths is an additional paid chapter.
