The Excavation of Hob's Barrow (2022)

The railway, pub and social obligations of a Victorian village establish how a visitor is expected to behave. Trying to arrange an excavation makes local resistance and inherited knowledge practical obstacles before their deeper significance emerges. Bewlay is fictional, with the moors and village life doing important work in its folk horror. The official PC release is English, and its slower opening leads to much darker material.
