A cell, passages and a gradually opening magical residence give you room to practise drawing a useful graph without first mastering a forbidding parser. The optional Tutorial Voice teaches commands as you play, so you can concentrate on naming rooms and recording exits. Start in normal mode and leave space for discoveries beyond the obvious route. Free browser play makes this a sensible first mapping project; expert mode changes some puzzles and is a separate choice.
