The pleasure here is watching care become something other people can taste. Pixar gives kitchen work speed and excitement, while Remy's unlikely ambition makes competence feel open to outsiders. It can leave a tired evening feeling a little more curious, especially if you pair it with something nicer than whatever was nearest the fridge.
