The devil you know (2016)

An old philosopher offers his soul for twenty more years to finish his life's work. Unfortunately for the demon handling the bargain, Saloninus has also spent a lifetime becoming a very accomplished liar. This short fantasy makes accumulated intellect and a thoroughly complicated reputation the chief weapons. Choose it when you want an older protagonist's cunning rather than a heroic sword arm, and enjoy the argument without assuming either negotiator deserves your trust.
