Nettle & Bone (2022)

Marra sets out to stop the prince abusing her sister, gathering helpers as unlikely as a dust-wife and a dog made from bones. Domestic violence gives the quest real urgency; the company's practical kindness and dry humour make its strange encounters bearable. The attraction is seeing care become a form of action. A compact adult fairy tale with grotesque ingredients and people worth spending time with.
