Alternating centre and rim hits makes even ordinary buttons feel percussive, while harder charts turn those two sounds into demanding patterns. The Windows PC edition works with standard controls or its compatible Xbox/PC Taiko drum controller. Start with the included songs and Improvement Support; paid packs and the Music Pass are separate. A physical drum adds satisfying strikes but also pad noise and desk space, so button play is a useful first step.
