YARG (2023)

If you already have a compatible electronic kit, this free PC rhythm game gives its pads and kick a note highway to follow. Its MIDI drum profiles support different chart layouts, and current versions add flexible drum lanes and in-song audio/video calibration. Start with the project's licensed setlist, checking that your chosen songs include drum charts. Kit impacts and pedal vibration remain real noise even with headphones. This is Yet Another Rhythm Game, not the unrelated platformer.
