Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception (2015)

Haku's everyday life with a new cast takes its time, with substantial reading between grid battles. Distinctive allies, attack chains and a generous rewind system make those fights a forgiving place to try combinations; Normal is friendlier than Hard. Prelude supplies valuable background, although this begins a new protagonist's story. The essential commitment is to continue into Mask of Truth, which follows its ending directly. Both have complete official English releases with Japanese voices, but this purchase alone is the opening half of that pair's larger narrative.
