Celeste (2018)

One dash, a wall to climb and a landing you can understand: Celeste gets the fundamentals exactly right, then keeps finding new ways to combine them. A moving block can carry momentum into the next jump; a fresh obstacle changes the rhythm without replacing the controls. That teaching earns my first place. Quick room restarts support practice, and Assist Mode lets you alter execution demands. The main climb and the ferocious optional chapters are very different commitments.
