Root Double: Before Crime * After Days - Xtend Edition (2013)

The rescue captain's account of a disaster and a student's account of the preceding days make trust look different from opposite sides. Complete both opening stories, then follow the later routes they unlock; choosing either initial viewpoint is supported. Your impressions of characters are entered through the Senses Sympathy sliders, so rereading is tied to revising a judgement. The English Xtend Edition has skip and jump tools, but scene jumps can pass over fresh material: ordinary read skipping is the safer habit. Expect a long, densely explained mystery.
