Swordheart (2018)

Halla's inheritance dispute becomes much stranger when an old sword produces Sarkis, a warrior obliged to protect its wielder. Falling for someone whose freedom is constrained by that object gives the comic journey a serious question about agency. The pleasure lies in their conversations and increasingly practical loyalty, with excellent support from a priest who understands paperwork. Adult, with on-page sex; this couple's story works on its own, though the enchanted weapons have further stories.
