Small Saga (2023)

An angry mouse carrying a weapon borrowed from the human world gives the familiar revenge quest a striking change of scale. Small Saga concentrates its turn-based battles around designed encounters and bosses, with no grinding between them. This small, independently published production is a particularly approachable discovery if you want an authored party story. Its fighting is less elaborate than the games built around extensive character classes; the setting and concentrated dramatic encounters are the reason to choose it.
