The Necromancer's Tale (2025)

Study a forbidden spellbook while trying to remain plausible in polite society. Conversation, secrecy and the town's suspicions matter alongside tactical fights, giving this independently published gothic RPG a strong organising tension. Choose it for a reading-heavy origin story in an eighteenth-century Italian setting. Becoming powerful takes study and social calculation, with considerable dark material along the way.
