Frankenstein (2025)

Guillermo del Toro changes substantial plot and character details while preserving a fierce interest in what a creator owes the life he has made. Oscar Isaac's Victor and Jacob Elordi's creature give that failure of care different physical forms. Choose this 2025 reimagining for its argument about abandonment and compassion, with the changes treated as an interpretation of Shelley rather than a claim of literal faithfulness.
