The ship is a vast living creature, and making it habitable involves altering the body that carries everyone. The travellers inherit a cycle of exhausting one space beast and moving to the next, with the difficult physical work falling unevenly across society. Choose it for the sharpest biological variation here on resources and maintenance. Grotesque imagery, dark humour, hierarchy and complicated family expectations are central; this is far from a clean metal habitat.
