The Reformatory (2023)

In a fictional Florida town in 1950, twelve-year-old Robbie is sent to a segregated reform school where he can see the boys who never left alive. Due draws on the history of the Dozier School, but invents this institution and its characters. The ghosts expose what official authority suppresses, while Robbie's sister works for his release outside. Historical horror with severe racist violence and child abuse, chosen for its insistence on whose testimony gets believed.
