Rhythm Heaven (2008)
Game
Released
The DS entry, also sold as Rhythm Paradise, asks for taps, slides and sharply timed stylus flicks while you hold the console like a book. Those little releases make catching, plucking and other absurd actions feel surprisingly tangible. The left-handed setting changes the book orientation, a useful detail for a game built around one stylus hand. Seek the DS cartridge and suitable touch-screen hardware specifically; later games in the series use different controls. Learning the flick itself is part of the initial adjustment.
