Each room becomes a scramble to keep a firing lane open while enemies enter around its edges. Ammunition and temporary weapons make moving towards a pickup a real commitment, while rolling helps you escape an enclosure. The PC port offers a practical modern control setup for this originally sixteen-bit design; do not assume every cartridge's controller mapping is identical. Rooms are brief, but the seven-area mission is a full run. Its large pixel art is readable until bodies and attacks accumulate.
