Day of the Tentacle Remastered (2016)

Bernard, Hoagie and Laverne remain recognisable through their contrasting postures and ways of moving, even before the jokes arrive. The remaster redraws their cartoon world while retaining the original's performance and time-travel object puzzles. Switching to the older graphics offers a useful comparison of the same action. There is plenty of voiced conversation, and following the changes you make across centuries takes more concentration than the jaunty animation implies.
