For four friends, choose DON-chan Band and turn the same song into different instrumental parts. For two, ordinary Taiko Mode offers the clearer side-by-side note charts. Those are distinct player counts: the headline four-player support does not make every mode a four-person session. The Switch version works with ordinary controls, with a controller needed for each person; drum peripherals are optional. Start from the included songs, then consider individual packs or the separate Music Pass subscription.
