De ansatte (2018)

The Employees, in Martin Aitken's English translation, presents testimony collected from a spacecraft's human and manufactured workers. Their attachments, complaints and longings exceed the administrative form used to contain them. Ravn asks the reader to assemble a situation from statements whose purpose and omissions matter. The process of collecting testimony becomes strange: an institution can gather many accounts while still refusing to understand what its witnesses are trying to say.
