A big ship at the edge of the universe (2018)

A treasure hunter and a racing driver find themselves aboard a smuggler's ship on the trail of an extraordinarily dangerous warship. White lets professional skills travel with the newcomers: knowing how to handle machinery matters even when the machinery includes magic. The crew gradually becomes something the two women can depend on. This first Salvagers novel offers exuberant action, queer romance and real violence. Choose it if a space opera with openly magical technology sounds like an advantage.
