Dave's two chosen friends bring talents such as electronics, music or writing, changing which rescue plans are possible. Pick a different trio and the same house can require a different chain of actions. It is fascinating for treating a cast as a set of capabilities, but its freedom comes with old-fashioned hazards. Characters can die and essential items can be lost or wasted. Keep several saves; Original and Enhanced PC versions preserve this design.
