Wii Music (2008)

Its preset songs and harmonically guided notes leave you free to experiment with timing, instruments and the balance of parts. Record percussion first, overdub a bass or melody, then try a radically different feel without learning every pitch. Performances can be kept in the game's Video Library, which makes it a useful arrangement sketchbook on original Wii hardware with Wii Remote and Nunchuk. These are in-game performances, not a stem-export workflow; the old WiiConnect24 exchange service has ended.
