Mushihimesama (2004)

The PC release's Novice Original is a gentler starting point than selecting the normal arcade rules or being tempted by Ultra. Its small vulnerable centre and slow focused shot make modest movements through apparently imposing patterns possible. Try to identify the next usable gap before it reaches you, then move only as far as needed. Novice changes the challenge, and the PC port's stage-training menu does not extend to Novice; choose it for building confidence with the patterns themselves.
