Dragon's Crown Pro (2018)

The first circuit through the nine dungeons does not reveal their full structure. Story progress opens B routes with different rooms, traps and bosses, giving familiar entrances a substantial second life. Choose Dragon's Crown Pro on PS4 for this version of Vanillaware's action RPG, and allow time for the opening tour before judging its branching. Later difficulty and loot progression add further repetition, but the A/B alternatives are the main reason it belongs here. This is a longer RPG commitment than an arcade-credit journey.
