Two to four local players can choose ships with different attacks, then cover each other's blind spots through the same vertical stages. A credit is lost only when the whole team is down at once, so keeping one pilot alive gives everyone a reason to protect the group. Choose the expanded Plus edition on PC and begin with an easier mission. Its flexible input support helps a games-night setup, though each person still needs their own controls. Resist letting the strongest player do all the shooting while everyone else merely waits to return.
