R-Type Dimensions EX (2018)

Each player has a ship and a Force device, letting a pair discuss coverage in the narrow corridors of R-Type and R-Type II. Start with ship collision disabled. In Classic co-op, lives are shared and a loss counts when both ships are destroyed together; collecting a power-up or clearing a stage can revive a fallen partner. Infinite mode is a gentler way to keep moving and learn. Choose the PC or console EX release, since iOS lacks co-op. More firepower helps, but it does not make the terrain or recovery decisions disappear.
