Raiden V: Director's Cut (2017)

Two local pilots can select from three ships with different mobility, defence and sub-weapons, then divide the work of clearing a vertical lane. The health-bar damage system gives a mistake a different rhythm from a one-hit arcade shooter, but a sustained barrage can still finish a careless player quickly. Choose Director's Cut on PC for offline co-op; the original Raiden V is not the same feature set. Start with a comfortable difficulty and learn to find your ships through the effects and busy side displays before chasing a full clear.
