Thin Air (2016)

An expedition approaches Kangchenjunga in 1935, carrying ambitions and rivalries as well as climbing equipment. Height, weather and the organisation of the climb make withdrawal a serious question before the haunting is considered. Another supernatural choice, it is especially good on the pressure an expedition’s hierarchy puts on people’s judgement. The historical attitudes and class assumptions belong to the uncomfortable picture, too.
