Wait For It (2016)
Book

Diana is raising her late brother’s two boys and trying to make a new neighbourhood into a home. A friendship with Dallas develops around the demands of that life, rather than displacing them. Care becomes convincing because it is repeated and useful. This is another lengthy Zapata courtship, with family grief and eventual explicit intimacy; the children remain people with their own needs throughout.
