Choose a pair and treat tagging as part of your plan, rather than waiting for the first fighter to collapse. Specials, recovery and the incoming partner give a bad position several possible answers. Grouping enemies also matters: finishing several with a special can trigger a Crowd Control food reward, making a well-arranged attack a source of survival. Its run upgrades change the resources available, so learn the basic reach and knockdowns before judging a build solely by its damage bonuses.
