Abbey Road (1969)

The second side of the Beatles' album is a particularly inviting demonstration of what an album can do beyond collecting singles. Short songs hand ideas to one another until separate fragments feel like a journey. Come Together and Something supply familiar footholds, but the medley's changing pace is the reason to stay with the sequence.
