Exiles (2023)

A year after Kim Gillespie vanished from a South Australian festival, the people who knew her gather for a family celebration. Aaron Falk notices how readily an explanation can become accepted when everyone believes someone else knew her best. Harper gives the search a lived social setting of friendships, parenting and remembered conversations. The third and final Falk novel; earlier books deepen his personal story, while this case is explained within the novel.
