Kiss Her Once for Me (2022)

Ellie agrees to a fake engagement for financial security, then discovers that her supposed fiancé’s sister is the woman she has never quite forgotten. The festive complications are knowingly elaborate; the warmer appeal is the possibility of a family Christmas that does not require pretending to be someone else. An adult sapphic holiday romance with sexual intimacy, financial strain and a difficult parent behind the comfort.
