Use the updated PC game and enable enemy-projectile outlines before judging its very busy battles. The visibility update makes hostile shots render above effects, reduces spark particles and lowers the contrast of coins, helping danger compete with the rewards. Separate options disable screen shake, screen flashes and random slow-motion effects. This is the most settings-dependent recommendation here: huge weapons and Mighty Mode still fill the view, so learn the goose's position and the outlined shots before chasing a high combo.
