Heat Signature (2017)

Pause an infiltration, inspect the guards' equipment and work out which gadget changes the problem. Knowing whether a target is shielded or protected by armour can matter more than bringing the largest gun. Practice mode lets you test an idea without risking a character, which suits a player who likes a controlled experiment. Character deaths leave you in the same evolving galaxy, with station liberations unlocking more options; this is not a completely fresh world after every failure.
