Notes and photographs ought to make a mystery easier to solve. Here they are evidence you cannot comfortably trust, because Leonard's inability to form new memories also determines how the story reaches you. The fractured order makes each new piece change the previous one. Choose it if you enjoy testing a theory about how a story is being told as much as what happened.

About Memento
Leonard Shelby is tracking down the man who raped and murdered his wife. The difficulty of locating his wife's killer, however, is compounded by the fact that he suffers from a rare, untreatable form of short-term memory loss. Although he can recall details of life before his accident, Leonard cannot remember what happened fifteen minutes ago, where he's going, or why.
