A mysterious email unsettles a widower's understanding of his wife's death and sends an old case racing into the present. Guillaume Canet keeps the mystery moving through streets, relationships and conflicting loyalties. It is a good choice when you want an intricate investigation with emotional urgency, rather than a puzzle whose characters exist only to deliver clues.
